More Soap, Sister!

More Soap, Sister!

We have an exciting development in our brick and mortar shop! As many of you know, our own products make up the majority of our in-store offerings, and that hasn't changed. You'll still be able to pick up beeswax candles by Big Dipper Waxworks or whimsical greeting cards by Honeyberry Studios, for example. Artist Collaboration with Going Stag

Artist Collaboration with Going Stag

One of my very favorite things about owning my little soap biz is getting to meet so many fantastic artists and crafters. I met Marybeth Kelly during a particularly chilly outdoor event this winter and was in awe of her talent for woodworking. Her Portland, OR based business, Going Stag features artfully crafted signs, frames, trays and more. In the Balance

In the Balance

A lot has been written about work/life balance, but I feel like it’s an area that many people still struggle with. We as busy women are just stretched thin in so many different directions that allocating our time can often feel like ‘robbing Peter to pay Paul,’ as the saying goes. Maintaining some balance in my work and home lives while also taking time for self care was on my mind recently as I set out to tackle another business “first.” This week was a big one for us at Emily’s Handmade Soaps! We packed up our gear and headed to...
